Why use SQRU.EU ?

To convert a long URL into a shorter URL (incl. QR-code)
Create QR When creating a QR-code image with a long URL you'll get a complex QR-code. That's why you should use the SQRU tool to create simple QR-codes an have the optional view-statistics.
 
When you converted your long url into a short url using this tool you'll be able to use the tiny url instead of the very long url. You also get a QR-code image to use on printed media. Mobile devices scanning the QR-code will get access to the content (url, text, tel, sms, e-mail, etc.)
 
When you sign in to create your SQRU's you have the option to activate a stats-tracking system. Counting each scan/view of the SQRU; per date, ip based location, browser and operating system. (more info...)

What does QR stand for?

QR example QR simply means Quick Response.
It's a type of matrix barcode or two-dimensional code.
They can be read quickly by a smart cell phone or
logistic device. QR-codes can contain many types of contents like; Text, URL, Phone number, SMS 'n' more
A long text or URL will give a complicated QR-code, that's why you can use the SQRU services to have a simple QR-tag.
